21bitcoin (FIOR Digital GmbH) was founded in 2021 by Daniel Winklhammer and Dominik Seibold. In 2022, the two entrepreneurs obtained a registration as a service provider for virtual currencies with the Austrian Financial Market Authority. Their international team, which is based in Salzburg, Munich and Vienna, combines extensive knowledge of Bitcoin and the financial industry with expertise in digital business models as well as technical and legal knowledge.
